Despite the f****ed up times we're facing, today I feel proud! After quite some hours at the drawing table, I was finally ready to film my first ever quad line ballet!

You probably know that I’ve been flying kites for quite a few years now. What started out with a couple of (really) cheap (and bad) kites on a Danish beach back in 1998, has become quite a lifestyle during the years.

I’ve made friends from all over the world and my “bag” is filled with memories from here and there and everywhere.

I’ve taken a stab at competitive flying, both individually and with the AERIALIS Team Flyers. I’ve flown technical routines and ballets, but…

…only with dual lined kites!

But now I wanted to expand my experience and around new year I found myself a pen and some paper and started to do some sketching. I did also carefully listen to various pieces of music to see if I could use it for a ballet routine.

Today was the big day. I hit the field with my kite bag, my recording equipment, my mobile and a pair of ear phones. I was ready!

Nothing fancy, nothing revolutionary, nothing spectacular, but hey, it’s my very first quad line ballet! ????????????
