Just as the sun climbed over the horizon in the east, my rokkaku took to the air lifting the KAP-rig shooting the first rays of the golden light and the beach below.

My Plan B worked out pretty well. Got up in the wee-hours and before you knew it, I was flying a kite!

The second Sunday of October is OSOW-day. Nice autumn weather combined with a pretty stable northern wind set the standard for the day!

After starting with Kite Aerial Photography, I have been planning to upgrade my equipment. Here's what I've done.
The winds were supposed to be perfect for my medium sized Rokkaku to lift the KAP-rig today. So I went to the beach with a plan of shooting some great photos!
Everything was ready to go, the kite, the rig, the video camera ... but I'd forgotten the memory card for the camera at home. Had to go for Plan B.
Very windy today, and perhaps it was a little too much. Nevertheless I got a few really nice shots from up above!
Yeah, that's right. I flew one of my Quad kites while filming it with my KAP kite!
Early morning rise and shine. Perfect winds for kite aerial photography! And this time I pulled it off!
With a dying wind I jumped into the car and headed for the beach to test the KAP rig.
