Hitting the beach and checking the wind. According to the local weather station it was averaging 9m/sec (20mph) with gusts up to 14 (30mph). Plenty to work with!
Out of the bag and because of the somewhat limited space, a 10m (30ft) line set seemed to be a good choice for the conditions.
I surely have to call it a success! No problems whatsoever quality flying the kite. Yes, a good pull in the heaviest gusts, but still very flyable. It seems like the venting takes quite a bit of oomph out of the gusts and smoothen the ride somewhat.
Did I bring the camera, you say? Well, off course I did!
