There was rain in the air, but hopefully, it would stay away long enough for me to kill a couple of hours or so flying down on the boardwalk again. A nice breeze coming in from the fjord just about perfect for the yellow vented QLK of mine.
Thankfully the rain stayed away for the two hours spent on the beach flying and filming. The grey skies made for a pretty dramatic backdrop and I think it looks pretty cool in the video below.
The flying was cool too. Really good conditions, nice and stable and right in the middle of the kite’s wind range. September is here so the temperatures are on their way down, but still, I can wear a pair of shorts when flying. I put on my pretty fluorescent AERIALIS wind jacket though. These are not the times to catch a cold!
