The wind direction was just about right for the location and I could fly at a tiny, gravelled field just beside the gas station. Despite the wind being on the lower end of the kite’s range, I could put in quite a bit of quality flying. And it’s always a good thing too practice flying in those low wind conditions too!
Then you really have to put in some good body language and really pay attention to the kite and the wind. When you get it right, it’s really rewarding and sometimes it feels more like you’re guiding the kite rather than flying it.
