It happened that I had to do some business in Oslo today. On my way back home I dropped by at Ekebergsletta!

Ekebergsletta, Oslo, Norway, kind of where it all started. Well, to be quite honest it started in Denmark back in the summer vacation 1998, but for many years, Ekebergsletta – a large park in Oslo – became the location for the AERIALIS Kite Club’s monthly meetings!

…and this place brings back a bunch of good memories! Kitebuddies from near and far, good winds, bad winds, chit-chatting, team flying, single lined kites, more team flying, OSOW, sun, rain, thunderstorms, Fun Cups, Nordic Kite Challenge, and …. yes, I could go on for quite some time!

Like mentioned, I stopped at the park on my way back home. The sun was hanging low and the wind was coming in from the south-west, the best direction for this large field.

I found a nice spot over at some poplar trees, still wearing their autumn coloured leaves. The A-Quad Standard matched the autumn colours perfectly!
